How to ship your wine

To ensure that your wines reach us safely and on time, please follow these shipping instructions:

1. Provide 4 bottles of each wine you have registered in the competition.
2. Attach a shipping label to each box you are sending. Download shipping labels from your Decanter Awards account.
3. How to pack your boxes:
   You can combine multiple entries in the same box, but please avoid unnecessarily bulky and weighty packaging while protecting your wine in transit. For example, it is not a problem if 3 entries arrive in one case (12 bottles) or even 2 cases (2 x 6 bottles). As a guideline, for a 4 bottle box, the following specifications are advised:

• Size: 41 x 36 x 37cm
• Weight: 8 kilos maximum

Important note for shipments from Italy: 

Wines being shipped from Italy must also include a proforma invoice, affixed to the outside of each box you are sending. See an example of a proforma invoice here. Please note: this is different to the invoice generated by our entry site.
